Xiaomi launched its Mi Band 7, a fitness tracker unveiled in China on May 24, 2022. The Band 7 features the 1.62-inch AMOLED display and a battery with 180 mAh; the Band 7 contains a few improvements from its pre-existing model. Mi Band 7 Design and Display

Xiaomi Band 7comes with a 1.62-inch Always-on AMOLED screen, compared to the 1.56-inch display on Mi Band 6. This, according to Xiaomi, increases the viewing area by 25%. Coming to the Pixel Density, it’s 326PPI.

Regarding health features, you can enjoy continuous heart rate monitoring and continuous monitoring of blood oxygen saturation, and 24/7 sleep tracking with the Mi Band. In this new version, most of the standard and women’s health monitoring features remain identical.

Another enhancement comes with continuous monitoring of blood oxygen levels and alerts for low SpO2 alerts. Its Mi Band 7 will vibrate and alert users when blood oxygen levels fall below 90 percent. This feature is designed for mountaineers and runners who run long distances to give them an understanding of the level of blood oxygen in real-time.

Mi Band 7 is also 5ATM certified, just like its predecessor. That means it can withstand water pressures that are equivalent to 50 meters. In essence, you can plunge into the water using this gadget.

Battery Life

This year’s upgrade also increases the capacity of the battery. It supports the same magnetic charging system introduced along with Mi Band 5 back in 2020.

Mi Bands have consistently delivered impressive battery longevity, which is no different. Xiaomi claims 14 consecutive days of use when you use it regularly due to a battery capacity of 180mAh. Xiaomi provides that it will provide 15 days of use with a single charge and nine days when there is intensive use. It is a lot more than the battery of 125mAh that comes with Mi Band 6.

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Price and Availability in India

Mi Band 7 retails for CNY 299 (Rs. 3,499) for the NFC variant and CNY 249 (Rs. 2,899) for the non-NFC model in China. It is in pre-order and will be made available from May 31 in China.
