Oppo Reno 8 series was launched in China on 23 May 2022. It includes three versions of the phone, Reno 8, Reno 8 pro, and Reno 8 Pro+, in various colors. The Reno 8 Pro is the most prominent of these smartphones, featuring the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ is the most expensive phone of the series. However, it also gets the MariSilicon X NPU, also available in Oppo’s premium Find X5 Pro 5G. There are three phones to choose from: the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. The Reno range usually includes multiple phones, and we have heard of three of them: the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and the Reno 8 Pro+.

Oppo Reno 8 specifications

Oppo Reno 8 dual-SIM (Nano) runs Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1. It has a 6.43-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 Pixels) AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Protection. The Oppo smartphone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and 12GB LPDDR4x RAM.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro comes with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. It features a full-HD+ display of 6.62-inch (1,080×2,400pixels) AMOLED E4 with a 120Hz refresh speed and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. This phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and RAM features up to 12GB.

A triple rear camera setup features a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 zoom lens. An 8-megapixel sensor is paired with an ultra-wide lens of f/2.2 and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 lens. For better video and images, the smartphone comes with the Mariana MariSilicon X chips from the company. Oppo Reno 8 Pro features a 32-megapixel camera sensor and an f/2.4 lens for selfies.

Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 Pro+ Price in India (Expected) & Launch

Oppo Reno 8 costs CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 29,000) for 8/128GB storage. For 8/256 it costs CNY 2,699 (around Rs. 31,400), and CNY 2,699 for 12/256GB (around Rs. 34,900).

Oppo Reno 8 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 34,900) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. CNY 3,199 (Rs. 37,200) for 8/256GB. Also, CNY 3199 for 12/256GB (around Rs. 40,700).

Coming to the top-of-the-line, Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ costs CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 43,000) for the base variant, 8/256GB and CNY 3999 (about Rs. 46,500) for the 12/256GB storage variation.

OPPO is planning to roll out these three phones in the Indian market soon, as per the rumors.
