- First Open Instagram app.
- Tap the Plus (+) icon at the top Right corner of your screen.
- Now you will see menu, tap on Reel.
- Select a video from your gallery by tapping the small + icon in the bottom left corner or Record a new video.

- Now, Tap Preview to proceed to the editing step.
To add text to the reels, tap on Aa in the upper right corner of the screen. You will now see a horizontal line indicating that the app is ready for typing. Then type the text you want on your reel where you want to type and add text.
Edit Text & adjust the style by tapping the icons at the top of the screen. To add text to the Instagram reel at different times, select the first text for the amount of time you want, and then select the second text for the remaining amount of time.
You can set the text at any position you want by dragging it with your finger. Simultaneously you can resize it using both your fingers.

iPhone version of Instagram has the same Reels functionality as the Android version. Instagram app steps are the same, so follow the steps below to add text and make your perfect Reel on iPhone
First, create a new reel. To create a reel you need to click on the (+) icon in the top left corner. After that select Reel from the menu. Now press the record button to create a new video or add an existing video from the gallery by clicking the icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
After adding the video, tap on Preview to go to the editing screen. Tap Aa in the top left corner to add text to the Instagram reel.
Now you will see a blinking vertical line in the middle of your screen where you can type and add text.
