The Mi10i is set up to compete with existing mid-range 5G phones such as the Vivo V20 Pro, OnePlus Nord, Moto G5G, and others.
The Redmi Mi 10i will likely compete against the OnePlus Nord as it will be a mid-range 5G smartphone. According to the company’s claims, this will be the first time that the phone will support a 108MP camera and this feature will be priced below Rs 30,000.
10i is a mid-range smartphone that is an all-rounder device with a great display sheet, great camera setup, great performance, and ample storage. Here you get the latest Android version (Q) and on-screen fingerprint sensor.
However, the weight of the device is heavy, which makes it a bit fraught to use with one hand for a long time.

Design
This is the version that Mi is using for its marketing push, and it looks a bit like a beach or horizon landscape. It is also not susceptible to fingerprints or spots.
One of the smaller touches is the inclusion of a 3.5 mm audio socket for a wired headset. Another feature is the small notification located next to the earpiece that lights up when the phone is charging. The earpiece works downstream with the speaker to give stereo sound.
The rear camera module is large, though not much stretched, Xiaomi says this is due to the choice of sensor. In this phone, you get a fingerprint sensor on the right side which is integrated into the power button. On the left side is a hybrid dual-SIM tray in which you have to choose between a second SIM or SD card.
At this price level, you have an IP53 water and dust resistance rating, which you don’t often see in this mid-range.

Specifications
Some of you may be disappointed because Xiaomi did not go with the AMOLED panel display. It has a maximum brightness of only 450nits and color reproduction is limited to 84 percent NTSC gamut, which is normal. The display is of high quality to enjoy video and games. There will be no trouble for ordinary use.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G is a modern SoC. After Moto G 5G, it is the only other phone in India that still uses it.
It is newer than the Snapdragon 765G and has more features based on the ARM Cortex-A77 design rather than the Kryo 475 core based on the Cortex-A76.
Two of these cores and six are high-efficiency Cortex-A55 cores. Here both chips have the same integrated Snapdragon X52 5G modem
There is a clean adaptive refresh rate, which can be between 30 Hz and 120 Hz in six steps and the panel will automatically match whatever content is playing.
It has T There’sV Rheinland certification for blue light emission, so that you will not only be able to saturate your colors but can also manually set white balance.
The 4,820mAh battery is not delivering much by today’s standards, but real-world usage depends on many factors, including SoC’s efficiency.
The Redmi Mi 10i works with all 6GHz networks as well as all the usual 4G, 3G, and 2G bands. It has dual-band GPS, support for Wi-Fi AC and Bluetooth 5.1, and an Indian NavyIC positioning system.
According to Xiaomi, it has added custom hardware to support both Google Assistant and Alexa, which will be enabled later with future software updates.

Performance
The screen refresh rate is set to 60 Hz by default. This phone is the weight that I felt a bit tired in the wrist after holding it in one hand for some time.
While playing a few rounds of Call of Duty mobiles in gaming I found that the Mi 10i was a bit hot. The game runs smoothly at high quality and frame rate settings and Metal Madness ran quite well.
The colors are quite saturated even on “natural” display settings and the videos and photos look quite good. Having stereo speakers in the sound makes sense.
Battery life lasted more than a day with normal usage and a fairly good performance on the HD video test lasted 17 -18 hours. And charging is also very quick, as it supports fast charging, so that it is 100 percent charged within 55 to 70 minutes.
